Appetite Returns

After a good nights rest (and some good anti-nausea drugs), Kerstin finally got her appetite back and ate a good breakfast.

Kerstin-

I am glad you were finally hungrey, I bet you get to eat whatever sounds good to you! You look very comfy with your PJ's on and your cool stuffed animals around you!

I have been thinking about you and your mom and dad and of course big sister McKinsey. Bye for now!

Tell your mom and dad Hi and that I am praying for all of you!

Kerstin-
Aren't you glad the hospital has grapes on the menu-- Your favorite. I am so glad you are feeling good enough to eat today. We have been thinking about you and your family and keeping you in our prayers.

We are a little jealous of you, every picture we see you are wearing pajamas. Do you get to have pajama day everyday?

It is so nice of your mom and dad to have this site so we can keep updated on how you are doing and see your pretty face.

Please tell McKinsey "hi" for us.

Hugs & Kisses-Annette, Scott, JUstin, Brianna and Jacob

Hi Kerstin-
How wonderful to see your darling smile (and super cute jammies!). I sure miss seeing you at school every day. Maybe we should just have another tea party at the hospital - how about it?

Each morning when I wake up, I say a prayer that you'll be well soon and back with us at school (and prayers for your mommy, daddy and sister, too.) Everyone at Rousseau has you in their thoughts and are sending our love your way!

Hugs,
Mrs. Braun

Hi Kerstin!

We miss you so much at church, and especially miss having you come to our house when your Mommy is singing! Sasha (the dog) is very lonely on Sunday mornings without you to pet her!

We're glad you're feeling better today. Hannah and Kyla love your little chair - they want one for their rooms, too!

We hope you have a good night, and Hannah and Kyla want to write you their own "blogs" - so they'll write you soon!

Love,

Jana, Steve, Hannah, Kyla, and Elissa (and Sasha!)

Jeff and Annie -

We have been thinking about you and the girls a lot. We are glad to hear that Kerstin is feeling a bit better. Linda and Brian were over and said she was feeling a little rough. The Collins family has been keeping us up-to-date on how you all are doing. We want you to know that if you need anything we are here to help. We are in Omaha, and have an extra bedroom to offer up if needed. If McKinsey is in town this weekend and wants to get away, we are going bowling for Porter's birthday. Linda and Brian will be attending with their girls and she is welcome to come along. Please let us know if you need anything. Like many others, you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Kerstin:

Your jokes for the day.

Ben's joke: What kind of shoes do mice wear? SQUEAKERS!!

Alex's joke: Why did the cookie go to the doctor? HE FELT CRUMBY!!

Hope you're feeling not so crummy today. Take care! Alex and Ben
