Hair

Kerstin is started to get frustrated with her hair. It is falling out all over the place and getting in her face, her food, etc. Combing it helps get rid of the loose ones. She isn't ready for us to help her cut it all off yet. It won't be long now, and it will all be gone on its own. It's kind of a bummer, but we know that when she is well again, it will all grow back.

Kerstin,
Remember that God made you a beautiful, BEAUTIFUL child! He may not have great plans for your hair, but he does have great plans for you! Get Well Soon Sweetie, I can't wait to see you back in music class!
Love,
Jen

Hi Annie and Kerstin!
Glad to hear that the counts are on their way up! Way to go! It is all of our dancing, I am sure! (ha,ha) We are praying that tomorrow is the day that you head back to Lincoln! Will you come to Omaha for counts?
The trick for getting Kerstin to eat is HOME! You will see that it makes all of the difference! Also, remember that calories are calories, whether they come from chocolate cake or broccoli! ( the cake probably has more calories) We love you and continue to pray for quick healing! Hang in there!
Love,
Kristi and Abby

Hi, Kerstin,

I've been reading your web page every day and have noticed how busy you must be with all of the "fun" activities people have been doing with you. I am sure it helps the days go by a little faster. (I'll bet your mom is liking all of the projects too, right?)

I think you are a brave little girl. I know it isn't easy having to work so hard to get well. I hope you get to go home soon.
