Today was zoo day at the Henry Doorley Zoo, sponsored by Make-A-Wish. There were lots of people there despite the rainy weather. The zoo staff brought out some critters for the kids to see. They included a baby hedgehog, a snake, a penguin, a tarantula, and a cockatoo (pictured).While we were in town, we dropped off some "K-Team" t-shirts to some friends who are participating in the Light The Night walk this Thursday in Lincoln.
