Busy Weekend

Kerstin kept very busy this weekend. Saturday morning she went to the Star City Parade in downtown Lincoln. She and some other Make-A-Wish families had reserved seats in the enclosed sidewalk that goes over O Street. What a view! After the parade it was off to the roller rink for some roller skating for the Girl Scout Cookie Kick-off. Yep - we now have 2 girls in Scouts. There is no photographic evidence, but rumor has it she can skate all by herself now.

Sunday afternoon Kerstin and her family attended the Make-A-Wish Christmas party. The girls had lots of fun playing all the games, making crafts, and meeting Santa and Mrs. Claus. Kerstin's burning question for Santa was, "How do the reindeer fly?" Santa had a brilliant magical answer.

We hope you all had a wonderful weekend also.

What a great kick-off to the holidays! And WHATTA VIEW for the parade!!! Casey's scouts will be in our Christmas parade this Friday - pretty sure our view will be mobile at street level. -ha.

The BEST thing is to see you (all) out & about, enjoying the season.

You'll get tired of hearing this from us, but: Can't wait to share it with you!!! :)

Looks like you had the best seats in the city for that Star City parade--Fun! Loved all the craft pictures. Hannah and Jim went to the Make-a-Wish party in Omaha. They said it was fun here too. We think about you all and are so glad to hear that Kerstin is doing so well! Have fun selling cookies, McKenzie and Kerstin! That's the fun part. Your mom will get the "fun" of organizing and helping you deliver them all! You all have a great holiday!
