Candy Cane Lane

That's not the real name of our street. It's known as Candy Cane Lane though because every Christmas everyone that lives on the street puts up lighted candy canes in their yards. In addition to the candy canes, some of the home owners go "Clark Gridwald" as well. (Click on the title for more pictures.)

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at your house! We'll send a pic of our house when we get the lights up, but there'll be no competition between our street and Candy Cane Lane, I can tell you that right now. :) Enjoy this special season, and keep making those beautiful snow angels! xoxoxoxo

Kerstin,
I am soooooo happy to hear your tests came back clear!!! What wonderful news!!!!!!!!!!!! I love the picture on an "angel" making an angel!! I bet it was good to get out of the house and play in the snow. My kids played in the snow today too. I thought it was a bit chilly out! I am meeting with Mr. Knobel tomorrow around 3:15. He will help you keep up with us until you can come back to school. I can't wait for that day. We sold a ton of Ring Pops. I am taking the money to the bank tomorrow for the official counting. We are hoping that maybe your mom and dad could come in and pick up the money and maybe have some milk and cookies with the classes. Is there any day that would work next week, Dec. 12-16? Some time and day between 1-3 would be great!!! Let us know a day or two that works for your mom and dad and we will work around their schedule. I best close and listen to my older kids read now!! Take care of yourself!!!!! Love and miss you! Mrs. Swiatek
