School Time

We have been richly blessed to have Mr. K working with Kerstin every day while she is unable to go to school. We are so pleased with her progress and how hard these two work together. Kerstin is now reading little books and learns new words every day. Thanks Mr. K for all you have done for Kerstin!

Mom got to go to McKinsey's Brownie meeting yesterday and help the girls get ready for cookie sales. Cookies anyone?? :) Kerstin and Mom spent the day hanging out together and even ran a few errands. Kerstin is always anxious for her sister to get home from school and play. McKinsey doesn't have to go back to school until Wednesday, so the girls should get in a lot of playtime this weekend. The Barbies have been very busy already this afternoon! Thanks for checking on us. We are so grateful for all of our friends and family! Posted by Picasa

Kerstin:

Keep working hard with Mr. K. He's the best! He had a very important job when he went to school at UNL.....ask him about it some time. I also liked your picture with Dr. G! Hang in there, soon you will be well. Take care!

Hello Lincoln Leafs!

Kerstin-I LOVE your hats. You look great in them! Glad to hear and see that things are going well. Hang in there! We have finally finished our 4 weeks of Christmas/Birthday celebrations and have a quiet Saturday at home (to do laundry and clean)! I had to laugh at the Jan. 9th picture where your mom is wearing her AOII sweatshirt-now I know I'm not the only one who still wears that one! It must be like a jamillion years old, but I still like it! Take care and stay away from any nasty germs. (I've heard the green ones are particularly bad.)

Hi Kerstin,
We know your Grandpa and Grandma (Gene and Clarice)and want you to know that we're praying for you here in Sarasota, Florida. As the director of The Chorus of the Keys, we were really glad to have your Grandpa join us. We're glad he decided to stay close to you while you're going through this challenge, and we're hoping for a complete recovery! Maybe someday you'll get to Sarasota and hear your Grandpa sing in The Chorus. We'll look forward to meeting you then! Your grandparents sure love you a whole lot!!!!!!
Get well soon!
