Wonderful Weekend

We have had lots of company lately, and we are loving it! Annie's cousin, Todd, got married at Sheridan this weekend. Uncle Brian, Brenna, Grandma Clarice and Grandpa Gene were able to come and stay at our house. We also got to chat with many other aunts, uncles, and cousins at the wedding. It was so nice to see everyone. Best wishes to the happy couple.

Brenna, and the girls got in quite a bit of play time in the new basement this weekend. They played house, polly pockets and prom (Yep, prom is a new one for me, too. It involves pretty dresses and Uncle Brian with a bow tie). Kerstin continues to feel great. She went in for lab work and a check up on Thursday. Her ANC is over 1,200 and everything looks great. Dr. G is very pleased with her progress, and we are too! She is taking her meds like a pro. Kerstin is also very excited for her big 6th birthday on Tuesday! Thanks for checking in on us and have a blessed week!

Wow! Your birthday is Tuesday, Kerstin! That is so exciting. I hope you have something really girly planned! I remember, my mom got me the most beautiful cake when I was six. It had a doll head and middle, and the "dress" of the doll was the cake. It was pink! I remember it perfectly. Being 6 is great!

That is funny! I had the same cake AND my Gram and Great Aunt made colored tissue paper hats for everybody with fringe on the top.

I must say, Kerstin, you've got an AWESOME looking head! I got a really short hair cut the other day and thought of you. I'm too busy to bother doing hair!!!

Have a fabulous 6th birthday! Maybe we'll have cake in your honor here!!!

THanks for keeping us posted. One of these days I'll get over to see that basement!!

Kerstin, Happy Birthday a few hours early. You deserve to party hard!!! I am so happy that you have been too busy to be seeing Dr. G all the time (as much as we love him!). Lauren got a late present today herself, she had surgery and it went GREAT! She is sleepy girl right now, but she had a pretty big day with some super surgeons.

Enjoy your day tomorrow, I know that your family and friends will be celebrating as much as you. Six is an awesome age!

Cousin smiles -- how beautiful. :) Sounds like it was a FUN houseful of people over the weekend, and - playing prom? The dresses sound fun, but don't tell Kenna or I'll be searching for a bowtie for her daddy or brother to be wearing! :)

Kerstin, have a GREAT birthday DAY! We'll call you this evening to sing to you [such as we RooneyToons CAN sing! -ha]! xoxoxoxo

Happy Birthday, Kerstin!!!! Wow! Did you pick some good treats to take to school today? What kind of party are you having this year? Jeremy and Marcus started soccer tryouts yesterday, so our busy spring is underway!

Happy Birthday, Kerstin! By now, you are probably in bed and dreaming about the fantastic birthday you had. I'll bet you have a lot of great new presents to enjoy.

It's wonderful to hear from your mom that things are going so well for you.

The little girl is one year older...well what do ya know.

You know Kerstin... you have not officially told Brenna and I and Erica what it is you are needing/wanting for your B-Day this year. So... why don't you AND Kinsey let us know when you get a chance.

It was great to see you and "go to the prom" with such cute young ladies. I really need more bow ties I think.

See you in a couple weeks.

Love.
