Kerstin's wiggly bottom tooth has been bothering her for weeks. So tonight her Dad suggested (jokingly) that we try the old string and door knob method of removing it. She actually agreed to it! Unfortunately we were unsuccessful (twice). The tooth is shaped like a cone and we couldn't get the string to tighten down on it. We told her not to worry about the Tooth Fairy finding her in Hawaii if it comes out there.

Kerstin - your dad can be a scary man! But he's right about one thing: the tooth fairy is all-knowing and will find you in Hawaii or wherever else you might be hiding from from my brother and his goofy ideas. :) xoxoxoxo

Kerstin,
I can't believe you let your dad try to pull out your tooth. Just eat a big juicy apple and bite into it with your loose tooth. That's how I lost my first tooth. If you loose it in Hawaii, I want to know if the tooth fairy in Hawaii is richer than the one in Nebraska.

Yes... the Hawaiian tooth fairy has to REALLY cough up some cash I think. With inflation the way it is... I suppose a tooth there would be worth about triple what it is her... so instead of a quarter you SHOULD get 75 cents.

Good luck with the tooth. I was a wiggler...
