Playing with Big Sister

The girls had a nice time after school today and all evening playing with their "new" kitchen. Thanks to Ron and Bonnie for cleaning the girls' kitchen and dishes which had been used in the outside play house and were in desperate need of a good cleaning. The Polly Pockets enjoyed being played with as well. Kerstin had another good day today. She is starting to eat and drink more and has kept everything down! No headaches today. She did get her dressing changed (not fun) and labs drawn here at home. Her ANC has dropped from over 3,000 on Monday to 600. The chemo is definitely taking effect. Her hemoglobin is low, so we will get to go to St. E's for a blood transfusion in the morning. Keep us in your prayers and also consider donating blood or platelets in Kerstin's honor. What a wonderful gift to give!

I'm glad that you enjoyed Candlelighter's the other night. Lauren thought that maybe all of the boys may have gotten on your nerves. How can candy canes of M&M's turn into guns or Star War's light sabors? Lauren and I got home from Children's tonight. We saw Abby on the PSA last night on TV, she did a great job. Take care and the infusion will make you feel much better.

It looks like you girls had a great afternoon. Funny enough, Kenna was playing in her kitchen last night also! Casey sure would have had fun with those boys and their M&M candy cane guns. :)

We're thinking of you this morning ... So much of what you have to do isn't fun at all, but each day and what it brings is one more step through this journey. You're such a brave little girl and we're all so proud of you!

You and Kinsey give each other hugs from us RooneyToons! xoxoxoxo

Hi Kerstin! Boy, we sure did have fun visiting you this week! It was so nice to see you, and your mom and dad! How did your blood infusion go? I bet you were a big brave girl! Guess what? I sent you and your sisters ornaments on UPS today! You should get them on Monday! You will have to let us know if you like them! We had fun making them! The ornaments that you and Mckenzie made are hanging on our tree and they look great! We miss you all, and hope to see you soon! Annie, thanks so much for the photos! I love them!
