Silly Saturday

Kerstin and McKinsey have been having fun spending the whole day together playing! Laundry baskets are one of their favorite toys! Ha! Barbies, Polly Pockets, Model Magic and having tea are all things they like to do together. It is such a blessing that they get along so well (most of the time:). Kerstin is feeling great. Her blood infusion went well yesterday, and she is starting to get some color back. Thanks so much for all of your prayers and good thoughts! Enjoy the warmer weather today! Posted by Picasa

It's always a happy treat for us to see your smiling faces. :) Keep on havin' fun -- and where'd you get that "warmer weather"??? Must have stolen it from us; our Saturday sunshine has been replaced by Sunday sloshing in a cold rain. But nothing can dampen our holiday spirits, the holiday made even brighter by all the good news out of Candy Cane Lane! xoxoxoxo to all!

Hi Kerstin,
What a delightful "load" of "laundry" that basket has in it. I would gladly trade it for the 15ish loads I've done this weekend! It sounds like you are finally feeling a little better, that sure makes my day. I'm sorry to hear you have had some up and down days. Hopefully, the down days will go away soon and your days will all be up days!!!! It looks like you and Mckinsey are keeping busy playing! How fun! Especially since the weather has been so cold lately. At least it is pretty nice out today. My kids are out playing in what little snow we have left and I am playing catch up on house work. This past week we have had something every night for one kid or another. It is a busy time of year!!We look forward to your Mom coming to school on Tuesday. I plan to get some pics of the kids with her and will send them with Mr. Knobel the following week. I will meet with him tomorrow morning for an update meeting. Play hard, work hard on your school work, and take that yucky medicine when you need to. Take care little one! Love, Mrs. Swiatek

Great to see you two being goofy.

Did your Mom tell you that we used to push each other around in baskets when we were little. We had motor sounds and everything. I may have run her into a few things... which could contribute be why she is a bit goofy.

Also... ask your Mom how long it took us to fold a basket of clothes after school when the TV was on and we were trying to have a snack of quicky toast pizza in the toaster oven.
Grandma Clarice said we were SSSSLLLLLOOOOWWWW sometimes.

See you soon

Hi Kerstin!
I'm glad that your feeling better and your blood infusion went well. It always makes me smile to see that you're having fun. By the way, my cat's favorite toy is the laundry basket too!
Love and prayers,

What fun!!! I don't think my boys' big toe would fit in the laundry basket any more. I have to ask them for piggy back rides because they're too big for me. I'm thinking they might like the Polly Pocket stuff. Sometimes they can seem a little girly. Marcus wants me to call your mom. He's a little worried that she'll be getting him underwear for Christmas.

Hi, Kerstin!
You do not know me, but your Mom and I used to go to college together in Kearney. I am glad to read that you are feeling better. I put you and your family on our Prayer Chain at our church here in Casper, Wyoming. We will be praying for you and your family every day. My daughters, Emilie and Diana would love to play with you and your sister sometime. They adore Polly Pockets, too. I think we have one of the Wyoming's largest collections of Polly Pockets. Okay, maybe not more than Walmart, but pretty close. Have a great day and enjoy the sunshine (it's shining here).

Hi Kerstin,
How are you feeling today? I hope it's been a good day! Do you like your teacher, Mr. Knobel? What's it like to have school at home? How has your appetite been? Do you have a favorite food that you could eat at every meal? Adrienne could eat pizza or spaghetti for quite a long time! I'm not sure if Eliot has a favorite, he eats almost anything, and Elise seems to like fruit-any kind, all day long. We're thinking of you everyday and praying that you have more good days than bad!
Hugs and prayers,
Julie Anderson

You girls are so pretty. I look at you and see your Mommy!!! I imagine your Dad will be pretty hard on boyfriends. What fun you must have playing. My girls are 3 years apart and have a ball together. Brenna was here Saturday night and they played dress up and game show and all kinds of things. Enjoy the nicer weather outside and keep me posted on your basement progress, will you?
