Dinner Delivered

On Monday Kerstin and her family were treated to a steak dinner delivered to their house, courtesy of Chuck C. (The steaks were perfect, thanks again Chuck.)

Kerstin also had labs done today. Her ANC dropped dramatically since Thursday when it was 2000. Today it is down to 500 which means she's pretty much on lockdown and the germ patrol is on high alert. Her hemoglobin was also down today. She'll probably get blood on Thursday when she goes in for labs. Even though her numbers are down, she continues to be energetic and in good spirits.

We are continually grateful for all the prayers and support, especially during this time when Kerstin's immune system is most vulnerable.

Hi Kerstin!
I'm glad your feeling good and still having fun even though your counts are down. I hope that you continue to enjoy the good things like yummy steak dinners and teatime in the basement despite some rough days. I was glad to see you at the Joseph reunion the other night and hope I get a chance to see you again soon when your counts go up. Lots of love and prayers,
Emilie

Hi Leaf Family! Boy, that dinner looks good! We LOVE steak here at the Bridgewater's! Kerstin, we are in "lockdown" here with Abby's counts. Abby and I are going to have to go and do some driving around just to get out of the house. Abby doesn't like it too much when we can't go anywhere! Bet you don't either! Kelli B. put some good ideas on our website for some fun things to do with low counts!
We can't wait to see you all on the 22nd!
Love,
Kristi and Abby
