Appetite Returns

After a good nights rest (and some good anti-nausea drugs), Kerstin finally got her appetite back and ate a good breakfast.

Kerstin-

I am glad you were finally hungrey, I bet you get to eat whatever sounds good to you! You look very comfy with your PJ's on and your cool stuffed animals around you!

I have been thinking about you and your mom and dad and of course big sister McKinsey. Bye for now!

Tell your mom and dad Hi and that I am praying for all of you!

Kerstin-
Aren't you glad the hospital has grapes on the menu-- Your favorite. I am so glad you are feeling good enough to eat today. We have been thinking about you and your family and keeping you in our prayers.

We are a little jealous of you, every picture we see you are wearing pajamas. Do you get to have pajama day everyday?

It is so nice of your mom and dad to have this site so we can keep updated on how you are doing and see your pretty face.

Please tell McKinsey "hi" for us.

Hugs & Kisses-Annette, Scott, JUstin, Brianna and Jacob

Hi Kerstin-
How wonderful to see your darling smile (and super cute jammies!). I sure miss seeing you at school every day. Maybe we should just have another tea party at the hospital - how about it?

Each morning when I wake up, I say a prayer that you'll be well soon and back with us at school (and prayers for your mommy, daddy and sister, too.) Everyone at Rousseau has you in their thoughts and are sending our love your way!

Hugs,
Mrs. Braun

Hi Kerstin!

We miss you so much at church, and especially miss having you come to our house when your Mommy is singing! Sasha (the dog) is very lonely on Sunday mornings without you to pet her!

We're glad you're feeling better today. Hannah and Kyla love your little chair - they want one for their rooms, too!

We hope you have a good night, and Hannah and Kyla want to write you their own "blogs" - so they'll write you soon!

Love,

Jana, Steve, Hannah, Kyla, and Elissa (and Sasha!)

Jeff and Annie -

We have been thinking about you and the girls a lot. We are glad to hear that Kerstin is feeling a bit better. Linda and Brian were over and said she was feeling a little rough. The Collins family has been keeping us up-to-date on how you all are doing. We want you to know that if you need anything we are here to help. We are in Omaha, and have an extra bedroom to offer up if needed. If McKinsey is in town this weekend and wants to get away, we are going bowling for Porter's birthday. Linda and Brian will be attending with their girls and she is welcome to come along. Please let us know if you need anything. Like many others, you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Cute pictures Kerstin! Uncle Jay dressed up as a vampire for Halloween. It was the first time I had to help him with his make-up before work. He looked pretty silly!

Kerstin, We are so happy to hear you're feeling better today! Casey said yesterday when we called that you MUST have been feeling cruddy if you didn't want to talk on the phone! :)

It's nice to see you with a smile on your face. We all love your smile! Enjoy your yummy breakfasts [are those red grapes? mmm!] and remember how much we all love YOU all!

Alex's joke: Why did the cookie go to the doctor? HE FELT CRUMBY!!

Hope you're feeling not so crummy today. Take care! Alex and Ben

Hi Kerstin,
I am so glad to hear that you are feeling better! I prayed for you many times throughout the night. The kids were so excited to see your pictures on Kerstin's Connection. Each one sent a message so I will type a couple a night. Sean-I hope you get done with the hospital soon and come back soon. Maya-We miss you very much! William-We miss you a lot! Corinna-We wish you could come back from the hospital. Jarred-I hope you come back soon! Isabel-We miss you! We think you are a star. Your book order came in today so I will send it with someone on Friday! You take care of yourself and know that you and your family are in my prayers! I will write again tomorrow with the rest of the kids greetings. I miss you sweetie! Be stong! Love, Mrs. Swiatek

Looks like another cute pair of PJ's... sometimes I think we could all use a nice PJ day.

I think you may have stole my BIG HAIR you ding dong. But...that is just fine with Brenna... she is embarrassed enough by the the stuff I do. I won the costume contest at work... OK there weren't that many people that dressed up but I beat out some HUGE Darth Vader guy, a silly clown, a lady who looked like Pippy Longstocking and a few others. You will have to ask your parents who Pippy is.
I wore yucky hair and teeth and said I was a nightmare blind date. Maybe I better send a picture to your Mom or Dad.

We can't wait to see you again.

Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better for now.

Brenna says Hi and I am thinking about you all the time.

Love
Brian and Brenna
